Karawan Authentic Alep soap contains only pure noble natural ingredients from the local resources of Alep, all organically grown or wildcrafted. The base of the traditional Alep soap is olive oil and bay tree oil exclusively (NO coconut or palm oil!).

Alep soap is 100% natural and vegan. It is totally free of: preservatives, synthetic components, artificial coloring or fragrance, fillers, petrochemicals, PGE, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc.

Unrefined cold expressed olive oil (organically grown): It is the base of all our Alep soaps. Since the Antiquity, olive oil is known for its washing, nourishing, moisturizing and anti-aging properties thanks to its richness in unsaturated fatty acids and anti-oxydants. Karawan Authentic is the only company using a food grade olive oil (2nd press) offering the full richness of the olive oil in a soap. You can see, smell and feel the freshness!

Bay tree oil - also known as bay laurel oil (organically grown): The subtle rustic fragrance of this essential oil is the signature of traditional Alep soaps. It is known for its antiseptic, purifying, regenerating, balancing and deodorizing actions. It is also known for cleansing and purifying the lymph, stimulating cells' detoxification.



Red clay (sun-dried): It is traditionally used for its gentle exfoliating, purifying, relaxing and regenerating action on the skin. Red clay cleanses the skin from impurities, toxins and dead cells allowing the skin to rejuvenate. It is also known for its action on the blood and blood vessels, which help to recover a natural peachy glow and radiance.
