Argiletz proposes 6 natural colors of clay. The specific color of a clay comes from its unique mineral composition. The specific mineral composition will give a specific action to the clay. Depending on your skin type, your symptons and the reactions of the body, one type of clay will work better than another. For therapeutic action and internal use, the green illite clay is the most popular in France and shows amazing results.

We will give you some general directions to help you to choose the most appropriate color, but of course it can vary. Only you and your personal experience with clay can determine which clay works the best for you. Some persons, for any reasons, will experience better results with one type of clay than another. Green Illite

silicium - aluminium - magnesium - calcium - iron - titanium - phosphorus - sodium - potassium + trace elements in very low amount: (chromium, lithium, lead, cdnium, arsenicum, nickel, strontium, copper, selenium, cobalt, manganese, molybden, silver, bore)

Skin type recommendations: To bring minerals and elasticity to de-mineralized and atone skins. Rich in silicium.

Montmorillonite clay is also known to be an amazing GREASE STAINS REMOVER: Powder cloth/carpet/couch with montmorillonite clay. Leave it on 30-60 minutes. brush it off. The grease stain is gone! For very incrusted stains, repeat the operation if needed. It does NOT fade the colors.

Other: The use of this clay is popular for spa and beauty treatments. It is also often used for therapeutic purposes. Researches say that montmorillonite clay has the power to stimulate the production of chains of protein, which explain its wide use for anti-aging treatments.

Skin type: For sensitive skin easily irritated that must be purified without risk of allergies or reactions. Also for dehydrated skin.

Actions: Pink clay, naturally rich in trace elements, is soothing and restores a healthy glow to your complexion, while respecting the skin's pH, which has been weakened by pollution. A very gentle cleanse that will sooth your skin.

Applications: Facials, hair & scalp masks, body packs, balneotherapy, clay mud bath. Not recommended for internal use.

Caution! This clay tends to leave some pigments on the surface on certain skin types after a facial or body mask. We commend that you do it the evening before to go to bed. The pigments will have the time to be absorbed by the skin during the night. The redness that appears is NOT a skin reaction but a concentration of pigments from the clay on the skin.
