Clay and mud have been spontaneously used by animals and Humans since their creation on Earth. It is one of the oldest therapeutic elements that naturally exists in abundance on the planet. Clay is most commonly used externally and internally for therapeutic, cosmetic or hygienic purposes. For the last 2 decades, the therapeutic use of clay on Humans began to reclaim its ancient status. Claytherapy is now widely spread in Europe, especially in France where comes the renowned "French Green Clay".
