Healing applications of clay

 

The French green illite and montmorillonite clays are the most commonly recommended by European scientists, doctors and natural health practitioners. But other clays can also work for some symptoms; they will be mentioned as alternate clays in this section.

  • BLOOD CIRCULATION: Recommended clay: green illite. The quality of the blood and the vessels comes mainly from a good digestion, assimilation and elimination, and also the good functionning of the liver functions. Internal use: A 21-day internal clay cure is recommend (with clay milk or clay water). It can be repeated consecutively for several months or at regular internal during the year if necessary. External use: Recommended clay: red and green illite. body packs or mud bath are excellent to cleanse the blood and lymph, and strengthen the vessels. In case of VARICOSE, you can apply local clay pack or poultice. Repeat as often possible, several times a day for several months until complete improvement.
  • BONE (injury, fracture, infection, inflammation, cancer, osteoporosis, weakeness, etc): Recommended clays: green illite, montmorillonite. External use: Apply a thick green illite clay pack, poultice or bandage around the affected area. Leave it on 1 to 2 hours during the day or all night long. Repeat the operation as often as possible for several days or months depending on the seriousness and the results. The clay temperature that relieve you instantaneously when in pain. Once their is no pain and for long term rejuvenating treatment a warm or room temperature is recommended. Internal use: An internal clay cure is always recommended along with an external treatment for a deep and quicker healing. Other tips: The repair of the bones is stimulated by sunlight exposure and doing persussions on the bone around the affected area. Regular physical activities is known to strengthen the bones and recrease the risk of osteoporosis and bone fracture.
  • BRONCHITIS (also asthma, respiratory difficulties) : See LUNG. Recommended clays: red clay, green illite. External use: BATH to detoxify and decongestion: In a hot bath, pour 3-4 boxes of ultra-ventilated red clay, add in 5 drops of the following essential oils: eucalyptus radiata or globulus, French lavender and thym. A sweat might be noticed. After the bath, lie down and wrap yourself in a bathrobe or large cotton towel under a blanket. Continue to swaet for about 20-30 minutes then take a shower to rinse you off. Do 3 bath per week until major improvement of the symptoms. External use: CLAY PACKS: Apply a thick (2 cm/3/4 inch) green illite clay pack from the upper to the middle part of the back. Leave it on for 1 to 2 hours (don't let it dry). When the clay detaches itself, it a sign that it's time to remove it. Repeat the applications with fresh new clay every 2 hours until major improvement of the symptoms. After that, continue the applications 2-3 times per day for several days or weeks (depending on the seriousness). Continue until complete disappearance of symptoms. Tips: Between each clay applications, you can apply a blend of essential oils on the back and chest to complete the clay treatment. (Eucapyptus globulus, eucalyptus radiata, french lavender, ravensarae, tee trea, rosemary officinalis) Other tips: Starchy foods, dairy products and proteins increase the symptoms and slow down the healing. Cut on those foods until complete disappearance of the symptoms.
  • BREAST ( congestion, cyst, hardening, calcification, growth, cancer, tumor): Recommended clays: green illite, montmorillonite. External use: Apply a thick clay plaste pack or poultice on the breast area up to the clavicule if necessary. Repeat as often as possible during the day and on several weeks until the complete disparition of the symptoms. During a radiation treatment, clay helps to reduce skin burns.
  • BURN (sunburn and other burns) : Recommended clay: green illite. External use: Apply a clay pack on the burned area (medium thickness). Put a gaze between the clay and the skin to avoid the clay sticking on the damaged skin). Leave it on for 20 minutes and take it off. Repeat the application every 2 hours for several days until complete disapearance of the burning sensation. Then do 3-4 applications per day for several weeks (2-4 weeks depending on the seriousness). Stop the applications once the skin is completely repair.
