Pink clay (Kaolinite)
Origins: France
Mineral composition: Pink kaolin clay is a blend of white kaolin clay and red kaolin clay. It contains: Silicium, aluminum, iron, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, calcium and other trace elements.
Skin type: For sensitive skin easily irritated that must be purified without risk of allergies or reactions. Also for dehydrated skin.
Actions: Pink clay, naturally rich in trace elements, is soothing and restores a healthy glow to your complexion, while respecting the skin's pH, which has been weakened by pollution. A very gentle cleanse that will sooth your skin.
Applications: Facials, hair & scalp masks, body packs, balneotherapy, clay mud bath. Usually not recommended for internal use although some people do it.
Caution! This clay tends to leave some pigments on the surface of certain skin types after a facial or body mask. The redness that appears is NOT a skin reaction but a concentration of red pigments from the clay on the surface of the skin. We recommend that you do it in the evening before bedtime so that the pigments will be absorbed by the skin during the night.
